BBG Partner on the podium in the Pan Celtic Race

We are pleased to advise that BBG Partner, Tom Boggis, and team mate, John Hull, of Create Reit did indeed complete the Pan Celtic Race on Sunday morning placing third in the Pairs competition.

The race rolled out of Inverness on Sunday 7th July and covered 840 miles and over 55,400 ft of climbing in a week.  The route involved cycling across Scotland, down Ireland and then up the length of Wales.

The race was unsupported and therefore the riders had to take all of their shelter, clothing and food with them, or procure it along the way.  Further challenges included negotiating ferry crossings, torrential rain for much of Ireland, encounters with cattle, sheep, midgies and a very large bull blocking a narrow lane at the top of a mountain in Scotland!
