Second BBG partner wins "deal of year" citation

In a remarkable double nomination new BBG partner David Alcock has also been nominated for “West End deal of the year” by CoStar and the Office Agents’ Society for his role advising fast expanding consumer finance provider New Day in it’s leasing at Argent’s renowned 3 million sq ft Kings Cross complex.

Whilst at his former practice David initiated and negotiated the acquisition of a lease over the listed 32,000 sq ft Midland Goods Shed. The triple headed deal involving the simultaneous surrender of the MGS lease formerly held by Guardian Media Group and also of New Day’s current 15,000 sq ft office in 2 Pancras Square.

The transaction and due diligence was effected by the client and advisers within a very rapid 6 week timetable through close cooperation between the client’s senior management and procurement team, lawyers Addleshaw Goddard and fit out advisors Oktra.

The awards ceremony is being held in mid-June.
